Meteorite Hill – Peace
Located at 5 kilometers west of the town of Ayo Ayo, The meteorite hill is an impressive rocky body that has a height of more than thirty meters.. According to the legends of the place, it was formed by a celestial body of enormous dimensions that fell to earth.. This natural formation stands out on the horizon as a sentinel of the native communities. From the top you can see the beauty of the surroundings, highlighting plant species with straw, yaretas and the winding road that disappears into the horizon, At that height it is possible to perceive the icy wind of the plateau.
Due to its geological and physical characteristics, Meteorito Hill presents capricious formations of which several protrusions stand out., paths and cliffs. Near its base you can see a few old houses made of adobe and straw., that were inhabited by residents of nearby communities, overhanging stone walled corrals.
