Isla del Sol is located 15 km. from Copacabana sailing by boat. Has 9.6 km long 4.8 km. wide and is considered a sacred place. The island is divided into three communities: “Yumani” in the south, “Challa” which has a white sandy beach on the central east coast and “Challapampa” near the northern end of the island.

HOW TO GET TO THE NORTH ISLAND: By boat from Yumani to Challapampa. WALKING: from Yumani to La Chincana 4 hours.
