Lago Uru Uru – Oruro

Lake Uru Uru is a lake in Bolivia, located in the department of Oruro.

The lake is formed by the overflow of the Desaguadero River at its mouth into Lake Poopó, over the extensive sedimented plain called “Saint Thomas” (because there was a small hermitage and a few small houses that were completely flooded.). This training dates back to 1962. The Desaguadero River connects Lake Titicaca and Lake Poopó.
