Lagunillas Natural Lagoon – Peace
Located near the town of Curva and 25 kilometers from Charazani. To get to this town you can use the buses of the companies Trans Altiplano and Transportes del Norte, which have daily connections from La Paz.. The vehicles leave from 06.00 hours of the El Tejar area in the City of La Paz.
The Lagoon shows abundant vegetation on its surface. The presence of algae and cattails gives it bright colors. It houses a variety of birds in their natural habitat.
Its extension is 140 meters long and 50 meters wide, It is usually maintained at the same water level all year round due to sporadic rains and the concentration of the flow of underground tributaries.. Very close to the site, There is an attractive community tourist hostel that offers lodging services to visitors who come to the Municipality of Curva and the snow-capped mountains of the Apolobamba Mountain Range..
