Musal Totally – Peace
The San Juan de Sirka reed lagoon is located 21 kilometers southwest of the town of Patacamaya, in the Aroma province in the department of La Paz.
This lagoon has a surface area greater than 10 hectares and a depth that does not exceed 5 metros, It is a natural site whose main characteristics are the presence of abundant reeds (schoenoplectus cattail); It also has an exuberant amount of wild birds such as parihuanas and several species of waterfowl found in the central part of the lagoon..
This constitutes a small ecosystem that maintains a delicate balance where birds, vegetation and aquatic animals, live in mutual interdependence. Due to these characteristics, this site is appropriate as a bird observatory and activities for specialized tourism and ecotourism..
The advisable season to visit this site is during the dry season., between May and September.
