    Rurrenabaque

    Rurrenabaque was founded in 1844, The name comes from the native Tacana language Susse-enabaque which means “Duck Stream”; Initially it was known as a strategic port for the commercial exchange of products., supply of fuel and rest for travelers who ventured from the subandean region to the Amazon plain.
