Calamarca Mine – Peace
The Calamarca mine is located six kilometers from the town of the same name. The site had important production in the second half of the 20th century. During the mineral boom period, it generated great economic profits for the Department of La Paz and Bolivia., mainly through the exploitation of tin, iron and zinc.
