Blacutt Square , more commonly known as ” The Plazuela ” Blacutt , is located in the ” Zona Sur ” or the southern section of the city of Santa Cruz, Bolivia , just three blocks from the famous Tahuichi soccer stadium . It is surrounded on all four sides by shops and restaurants. .

Blacutt Square is located 2 blocks from Irala Avenue, a long avenue that runs from west to east (and vice versa) along the south side of town, at the bottom of the Ramada (one of the many open air markets in Santa Cruz (which is located on Avenida Grigota and the first ring) all the way to the Urban Park and the Don Bosco Catholic Church (the first round in the photo on my churches page). Along Irala Avenue you can find shops, banks, pharmacies, medical offices, a big big car wash, restaurants, and the Foianini Clinic, considered the best hospital in Santa Cruz, and several other smaller health spas and health centers. You will also find several daycare centers (Rags, Little steps, Ami) and the two towers (which will soon be three) from CAINCO (Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism). All of this is within a radius of 6 blocks from the square.
