Charazani is its capital also known as Villa Gran Juan José Pérez, which is located at a distance of 315 kilometers from the city of La Paz, Its inhabitants speak Quechua and Aymara. It stands out for being the land of the Kallawayas. It is a symbol of the province for the quality of doctors from the Andean world since before the colony.. UNESCO recognized Culture as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. The Kallawayas were part of the seven tribes of the Inca empire according to historians., who also
Building the Tawantinsuyo at the territory of the nowllawayas. They spoke Machaj Juyay, which was a language only known at the high levels of Inca culture..
