Jesus of Machaca Church – Peace
The church of Jesús de Machaca has been raised from its foundations by the Guarachi chiefs; masters such as Alonso Calli intervening in the construction of the church, native of the town of Machaca, the bricklayer and stonemason, Juan Quispe Guamán, born in Cuzco and who would have participated in the construction of other religious sites.
It was concluded in 1706, its design the last moment of Renaissance architecture in the Andean region.
