Puya Raymondi Garden – Peace
The puja garden is located approximately 10 kilometers from the town of Collana and is characterized by housing one of the most impressive and endemic plant species in the country known as “Puya Raymondi”.
The plant belongs to the bromeliaceae family.; At maturity it reaches an average height of 5 meters and a life time of 100 years, It is one of the most important attractions of the municipality, It has been studied in detail by botanists and scientists.
Very close to the hill where the garden is concentrated there are also granite stone quarries., This stone material has been used for a long time in paving streets and avenues in the city of La Paz.. Currently it is one of the most important deposits in the region because enormous blocks of stone are extracted from it and are distributed throughout the country..
