Museum La Casa del Moto Méndez – Taria

Located in the town of San Lorenzo a 15 Km. of the Department Capital, corresponds to the house in which the famous guerrilla and independence hero Colonel Eustaquio Méndez Arenas lived.

Currently declared a National Monument, a historical museum is installed in its premises., whose façade and interior maintain the colonial architecture, composed of adobe walls, Spanish-style tiled roofs on hollow cane and brick floors, paint and wooden doors, maintaining a beautiful colonial balcony as well as different environments where a series of objects of great historical value are displayed, including furniture and paintings from the period..
