There are several versions about events that occurred in the vicinity of La Plaza Arqueológica when the Bennett Monolith was in the city of La Paz. The residents of Miraflores say that they heard cries and moans that they did not know where they came from., Most of the neighbors assure that it was the cry of the monolith that longed to return to Tiwanaku and attribute that the calamities that befell our country after its arrival were due to the presence of the Pachamama Monolith..
Currently the square is frequented by students, from nearby universities. It is also visited by the general population on days when there are sporting events and when the national and sports club flags are seen flying..
